The 2026 USW Health Care Workers Council Conference will be held October 4 – 8, 2026 in Providence, RI. Our conference theme is, “Healing with Strength, Leading with Unity” and the agenda is designed to empower attendees with the tools necessary to engage rank and file health care workers and build an even stronger HCWC. Local union leaders are strongly encouraged to send representation from each healthcare bargaining unit
The HCWC Conference is an important part of our International Union’s commitment to support our healthcare worker members through education, collective bargaining, legislative action, and organizing.

Conference Registration
Early bird registration fee for the conference is $225 and must be completed by June 1, 2026. After June 1, 2026, the registration fee is $275. You may register online, by email, or by mail. Registration will close on Friday, September 4, 2026.
- Online registration: Visit the HCWC Conference registration at https://events.usw.org/registration/hcwc2026.aspx and follow the instructions. Either pay online with a credit card or mail a physical check to the address listed below. U.S. locals may also pay by eCheck. Please include a list of delegates or a copy of your registration confirmations if a check is mailed.
- Email registration: Email the enclosed registration form to Lisa Nutter at [email protected] and mail a check to the address listed below.
- Mail registration: Mail the enclosed registration form and check to the address below. All checks should be made payable to USW Secretary-Treasurer, with “2026 HCWC Conference” on the memo line of the check.

We were able to secure a conference rate of $199.00 plus tax per night. To receive the group rate, reservations must be completed by September 4, 2026.
You will be responsible for making your own room reservations. To obtain the group rate, you can reserve online here or call 1-800-THE OMNI and ask for the USW HEALTHCARE block.
Airline Travel
In cooperation with Direct Travel, we have made special arrangements for air transportation to the conference. You are responsible for making your reservations. Please call 1-877-499-1149 and select prompt “4” (group meetings). When calling, please identify yourself as a participant in the USW Healthcare Conference. Please call between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday; otherwise, and after-hours transaction fee will apply if the call is outside of these regular business hours.
